Hi! My Name is Gillian Lawson. I am a fashion designer and artist currently located in Toronto, Canada. I graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2026 with a BFA in Fashion Design.

I have always had a passion for creating art, in a multitude of disciplines. My design style and process is deeply rooted in storytelling, often inspired by literature, folklore, historical events, and personal experiences. As an extraordinarily curious person, I love combining my love of art with my love of learning and am constantly looking for opportunities to expose myself to new experiences, disciplines, and knowledge.

I seek to create pieces that are vibrant,  eclectic, and intentional - reflecting the passion that I have for art and for life.

Sustainability has always been at the center of everything I do, including fashion design. I am very passionate about sustainability and ethics within the fashion industry and it is something I always consider and prioritize when designing and creating.

My goal is to tell stories with my designs and create pieces that spark joy and pique interest while having a positive impact on the communities around me.
